Introduction

The Roamex API lets you sell eSIMs from your own website, app or back office. You can list plans, buy eSIMs, send them to a customer, top them up and cancel them.

Every purchase and top-up is paid from your Roamex wallet, the same balance you see in the panel.

  • Every endpoint takes POST, also the ones that only read data.
  • Send a JSON object as the body. Endpoints without parameters accept an empty body.
  • The body may be at most 100 KB.
  • All amounts are in euro cents, for example { "amount": 1234, "currency": "EUR", "formatted": "€12.34" }.

A successful response has "success": true and the data next to it:

{
"success": true,
"balance": { "amount": 25000, "currency": "EUR", "formatted": "€250.00" }
}

A failed response has "success": false and an error object. See Errors.

Create an API key on the Developer page of the panel, then ask for your balance:

Terminal window
curl -X POST https://api.roamex.com/v1/balance \
-H "Authorization: Bearer rmx_your_api_key"
  1. List plans for a destination.
  2. Buy eSIMs with a plan id. Send an Idempotency-Key so a retry never buys twice.
  3. Send the eSIM to your customer by email, or read its QR code from the eSIM details and show it in your own app.
  4. Later, top it up or check its usage.
